MOVIE CLUB - Hunger Games

Today we are going to talk about The Hunger Games.

The movie is originally from a three saga book written by Suzanne Collins and it was soon adapted into a film. Gary Ross along Suzanne and Billy Ray made this amzing movie come to life with a great plot and amazing visual effects.

           

The Hunger Games takes place in a nation know as Panem, in North America. Panem consists of the wealthy Capitol and the 12 poorer districts surrounding. In District 12, the annual selection for a boy and a girl from each district fight to death due to the rebellion to the Capitol started . Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her sister to go and represent her district. The other chosen was Peeta Mellark.

They were sent to the Capital to train to the Hunger Games. The first winner of the district 12, Games Victor, was their mentor and he warns them to beware of the Tributes from District 1 and 2.

The Hunger Games start and Peeta runs from the middle where there are weapons, supplies and medicine. Katniss waits until every thing is calmer and goes to get some stuff.
